For Polymarket traders

Prove the process.
Earn funded review.

A simulated prediction-market Evaluation using supported live Polymarket and Kalshi reference books, followed by conditional funded-account review under published rules.

01

A Polymarket prop firm, defined carefully

Refract Funding lets prediction-market traders demonstrate a process in a simulated Evaluation, then be considered for a funded simulated account under published rules.

The phrase “Polymarket prop firm” can suggest that a company deposits money into the user's personal Polymarket wallet or lets the user trade a live venue account. That is not Refract's model. Every Refract order, fill, balance, position, Evaluation, and funded account is simulated. The platform references supported live market data but does not send the user's orders to Polymarket.

The economic opportunity comes later and conditionally: eligible simulated profits in an approved funded account may qualify for real USDC payouts under the payout rules, identity and fair-play review, regional availability, and approval.

Refract Funding is independent of Kalshi and Polymarket. It uses their published market data as a simulation reference and does not send user orders to either venue.

04

What the Evaluation is designed to measure

  • Profitable decision-making. Reach the published target through eligible simulated trading rather than a deposit or bonus.
  • Drawdown control. Keep the account above the applicable trailing loss floor.
  • Consistency. Avoid making the result depend on one oversized outlier under the current rules.
  • Execution. Trade through Refract's supported simulation rather than claiming an external result.
  • Fair play and eligibility. Complete required reviews before funded access or a payout.

Passing an Evaluation does not guarantee a funded account or payout. Funded access and payouts depend on the published program rules, eligibility, identity and fair-play review, regional availability, and approval.

05

How to assess any prediction-market prop program

Read the rules as if you were already near a breach or requesting a payout. Confirm whether accounts are live or simulated; what the fee purchases; how profit targets, drawdown, and consistency are calculated; whether rules can change for an active account; which regions and identities are eligible; what review can delay or deny funding; and how payout eligibility is calculated.

Do not use account size or payout percentage alone. A large simulated balance has no standalone cash value, and a headline share matters only after the trader understands which simulated profits qualify, the drawdown left after a payout, and every review condition.

06

Prepare in the free simulator first

Build a sample across different market conditions, not only one news cycle. Track forecast calibration, spread paid, modeled slippage, risk per idea, correlated exposure, rule interpretation, and whether losses remained inside the plan. The Polymarket paper-trading guide provides the workflow, while Polymarket strategies covers research and execution in depth.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Refract Funding a Polymarket prop firm?

Refract Funding operates an independent simulated evaluation and funded-account program for prediction-market traders using published Polymarket and Kalshi data as reference inputs. It is not affiliated with Polymarket and does not place a user's order or provide a user with venue trading capital.

What is a Polymarket funded account at Refract?

It is a Refract funded simulated account that references supported prediction-market data. Eligible simulated profits may qualify for real USDC payouts under the published program rules and review. It is not a funded personal Polymarket wallet.

Do I need a Polymarket wallet to use Refract Funding?

No venue wallet is required to place simulated Refract trades. Eligibility and account requirements for Refract itself still apply, and coverage of individual markets can vary.

Does passing the Evaluation guarantee a funded account?

Passing an Evaluation does not guarantee a funded account or payout. Funded access and payouts depend on the published program rules, eligibility, identity and fair-play review, regional availability, and approval.

Important: All trading, balances, positions, and fills on Refract Funding—including in the simulator, Evaluations, and funded accounts—are simulated. No real money is placed at risk in a simulated trade, although Evaluation fees are real payments. An Evaluation fee buys access to a skill challenge; it is not a deposit, investment, market stake, or trading capital. Refract Funding is independent of Kalshi and Polymarket; references to those venues do not imply endorsement.

Passing an Evaluation does not guarantee a funded account or payout. Funded access and payouts, where offered, depend on the program rules, eligibility, identity and fair-play review, regional availability, and approval. Market data and simulated results may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Refract Funding is not a broker, exchange, or investment adviser, and nothing on the service is investment advice. Adults 18+ only; additional age or location restrictions may apply.
